I tend to agree. Motor mouth Johnson should be nowhere near a govt office. He's a liability and May should have binned him off long ago. How some people can be stupid enough to see him as a future PM amazes me although tbf there are some equally numb feckers who want to see Corbyn in charge and running then country with his 2 man cabinet too!

Wholeheartedly agree . He's a complete buffoon . Having said that I can’t say I’d be concerned if England did pull out . I get the impression that the players representing England aren’t that bothered & international games are on most occasions pretty dire to watch

Whilst I initially railed at this suggestion I have to say that Russia's barely concealed and sneering contempt for the UK and it's govt in all this reminds me of a bully on the beach kicking sand in a little boy's face. Seems they view the brexit scenario as a weakness in the european theatre. There ought to be a few conversations behind closed doors to come up with an alternative tournament elsewhere for the major nations as lets be honest the World Cup Finals should only extend to half as many teams as it currently does anyway.

Unfortunately I doubt the citizens of other countries would care enough about this incident and especially considering there was little mention of boycotting the world cup in Russia when Russian / Ukraine forces using Russian missiles downed MH17 killing 300 innocent civilians.

I doubt Southgate will find a place for Shelvey to replace him. He wont have a clue what to do with him.

He's like Joe Cole. The best talent of his generation but somehow without real focus.

I really hope that Southgate has listened to the rising clamour to include the only really world class play maker that we have in Jonjo Shelvey. With our range of strikers a good manager would build a team around the service that only he can provide. Something Bobby Robson couldn't see when he chose to play our best playmaker back then Glenn Hoddle on the wing before after a dreadful start and when it was shit or bust time against Poland Peter Reid countermanded his orders, told Hoddle to sit in the middle whilst he covered his defensive duties for him .... and we won the match 3-0!

Shelvey is a good player if he's on your team but if not he's a dirty bastard. If you took him to Russia he'd sure a hell get sent off. I don't like his sort. Potential Joey Barton.
