A warm welcome to a couple of hundred (I'm guessing) bleary eyed Taffs. Up until the early hours to see he New year in and then up at sorry before the crack of dawn to make the long trip to Ewood Park courtesy of the good fellas at SKY. With the Rovers in he depths of a slump and Cardiff looking warily down ward rather than upward I don't know why they have deemed this a potential classic. Anyway it's cash in the till and we need it so lets not grumble eh?

Two out of form teams it seems..........

We have a lot of talented players at Rovers. The fact that they often play so badly can only be down to the coaching or the team spirit. It can be said that the coaching is also responsible for the team spirit. Something is wrong when a player like Travis appears to have lost interest.

I can't believe we are still in 3rd place.

There can't have been that many teams in history that sat in 3rd place with over half the season gone and a minus goal difference.

Though as the teams below the ones below us have been winning that will very soon turn into 10th place and lower.
We are only a game off being in 9th.

I will miss my 3rd game in a row as I will be somewhere up mainland Spain's highest mountain on New Year's Day.🏔

Not confident if we will ever win again after catching up on what's happened lately. We have even turned from score first always win into "cannot hold onto a lead".

Though Cardiff are crap aren't they? AND it has to happen sometime. 1-1.

Which mountain is that? I have done some wonderful high level walking in Spain.

Thankfully Buckley is out, now to drop Morton and stick Travis and A.Wharton in.

That said, after the Hull game A.Wharton seems he's been bombed out or he has a January move already agreed.

1-0 Rovers.

My personal opinion on our midfield is too much emphasis is placed on attacking attributes. In recent games, JDT has decided to play Gallagher, BBD, Dack and Dolan/Smodics.

If thats the case, your 2 midfielders better now how to defend and that makes Wharton an ill-suited luxury. Morton and Buckley for me are both box-to-box, so JDT is putting a heck of a lot responsibility on them to analyse every game situation and react accordingly. Too much arguably.

Possibly but at least A. Wharton can tackle. The other two have been a complete embarrassment for the last 2/3 games. Morton needs a spell out. Buckley needs a loan away.
