Now then..... this amazes me. Yesterday after the match my mate and I were sipping a pint in the premier suite when in strolled Garrett to collect his mom Boss watch. I really couldn't believe how tall he is! Checked on wiki and he's 6ft 2"!!!' Sure he's gangly but he looks about 5ft 8" when he's playing.

I do wonder about wikipedia articles exaggerating famous people's heights, given a lot of the time they're either written by, or at least a lot of the info is provided by, a somewhat biased source (I'd guess at agents or friends in the media mostly).
Mind you does it really matter with football since its been changed into a virtually non-contact sport. Watching Iniesta and Xavi destroy our 6-footers Lampard and Gerrard in the mid-00s was a watershed moment on size.

I don't think there is much exaggeration bwh. I can assure from seeing him walk past me that he is over six feet tall and very gangly. Seeing him on the pitch must be an optical illusion.

It was always going to be a low gate pal. Like I said twelve o clock is too bloody early for a football match, particularly for the away support. We should have told sky to get lost and played at three, I reckon there would have been 20k on.I know it was early on New Year's Day but Jesus bloody wept!!!!!!

Pleased for Dack, know I've been a big sceptic of his ability to regain his former level, but he seems to be on the way. Very pleased in general that Buckley and Dack have (eventually) reacted the right way to being dropped and have been rewarded as such by JDT. Indicates there's no bad blood and they're prepared to get on board with what the new manager wants.
Dack played some very inventive passes yesterday, Garrett was all over the pitch and very influential in midfield combat and at the back Ayala and Hyam were both excellent.

BB's was Hyam
and of course

Yeah I conquered and survived. Weather was awesome, icy up there at the peak, but sunny.

Anyway, nice to see we just about won. Can't comment too much on the game though from the reports it sounded like Cardiff were that bad upfront that any goal for us was always going to lead to 3 points.
