This is a difficult one . I like my wingers / wide men to defend as well as attack . Harrison Reed was s good exponent of that on Saturday. With the ball he was superb , without it even better .
I’m a tad concerned that Harry is too injury prone. I think Amo mentioned he should be on a pay when you play type contract - my feelings too. For me he’s an impact sub at best . Hope he proves me wrong .
Having said all that , has anyone noticed , Rovers continuing to behave like a proper football club !

I remember him being particularly poor at the defensive part of his game when he was here.
An uninspiring signing for me.
Never really delivered when given a full game but showed a few flashes of skill when used as a sub.
He hardly played for us after the Wigan away match last season, which was in the Autumn, so had little influence on our promotion really.
A lot to prove and I really hope he came very cheaply.

Has anyone looked close at the pictures of harry??? He is already in the training kit..... Most pics of signings there in there own clothes.... Dont get me wrong yes he knows the club but he must have trained yesterday and signed over the weekend!! So he will play Saturday probably.

He'll have no doubt had a number of gruelling fitness tests to complete before and signing. I think 'impact sub' would be the best way forward but as I've said earlier I don't want Chapman's signing to relegate Rothwell down the pecking order. Both are equally dangerous and exciting to watch and both are supporters favourites already.
btw I notice Reed has come into that category too of late. Lots of chanting his name for his all action displays both on and off the ball. All the more impressive by a 'ginner'.

Have to see how reed is this weekend as the party at his went on till 4am Sunday morning ( the guy in house I'm in next door to him told me lol ) and his mates only left his Monday at 4ish lol now that's a birthday weekend

Crikey! Premier League wages might be a problem unless Soton pay half but he'd be one hell of a striker in this Division that's for sure. That move could see us make a real charge for the Premier League!
Seems like the venkys might have left it till the end of Jan to see where we are before making a push for the riches of the Prem which could wipe out our debt .... before seeing us rejoin Burnley and Huddersfield in the Championship the season after.
