A bit of welcome news....... fingers crossed
http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.u..._timeframe_on_his_Rovers_return/#commentsform

I wonder if Harry Whizzbang can play centre half? We seem awfully lightweight in that department all of a sudden.

Note of caution..
“The flight home from Finland was the worst and the most uncomfortable I have ever been, but the surgeon is a great bloke and he’s done the perfect job. I feel really strong now and I’m in better shape than I was before I left, which is a positive. When I come back I’ll be fitter, I’m going to be stronger and quicker."
I hope that surgeons done em both or he might tear the other bugger! :(

What I saw off Armstrong on YouTube in the highlights he looks a very dangerous player at this level.Harry will not be missed but a great addition for the run in.

He HAS been missed waggy. On from the start at home or as an impact sub away from home should he be needed. Not a player that I would have enjoyed marking back in the day that's for sure.

I can't remember a better transfer window for us??
Looks like we have stayed intacked and brought some players of promise in.
Very happy
Well to date the venkys haven't deserved much praise of any sort (btw I accept many must have praised them in the past for hanging on so tenaciously to Rhodes. Not me mind, I have him down as the worst target man of the 3 on our books for those final two seasons) so maybe we should allow them a little latitude for this transfer window's performance. Maybe their learning curve has finally seen them reach a useful level.

Depressing stuff Wright going. This is how football in the modern era works eh, fans getting excited about the likes of Tomlinson and Rankin-Costello coming through, barely aware that young players of real quality are swiped from the academy years younger.

I trust nobody threw him the pen from across the room then?

Hoilett's been a major disappointment hasn't he? Talent to burn in his feet but seems to me little between his ears.

Myles Anderson's contract at Torquay has been terminated. The next Dennis Irwin as a late developer ain't developed much as he? no surprises really despite his tackle.

Anyone know the extent of his injury?
He's one that needs to be on the bench initially and brought on for the last 20 if we are comfortably ahead for a couple of weeks. I saw him at Southend having to play on up front after he was injured. He couldn't even jog never mind run. We'd used all our subs but that last 15 can't have done his ankle / foot any good that's for sure.

28 now and he's stolen a living for the last decade simply through his old man's conniving.
