I'd swap him for both of them and do the deal this morning ! Rovers get a player who has always given 100% whilst wearing our famous shirt and the club would save a considerable amount of money on wages .

Now you are moving the goalposts. Yes I would rather have two midfielders who can at least play a bit and neither of them are as poor as it suits your argument to try to make out than a guy who we all know over the years cannot play football but just run about a lot. The danger of having him on the books is that you get tempted to play him. Then you are a man down. Would you rather pay a well known non footballer than a full international and a player who may be slowing down but can still find a pass when required?

Evans has a similar ability level to Lowe imo but can't lace Lowe's boots in terms of effort, speed and physicality whilst Whittingam certainly could but simply can't be bloody well arsed to.

If you honestly think that Evans has a similar level of footballing ability to Lowe we are wasting our time debating this subject and I would rather have Whittingham on the field any time than have Lowe anywhere near the stadium.

It's not hatred and it's not irrational. It's an opinion built up over years of watching Lowe and groaning and I do not want the experience again. We've had this discussion before and never agreed so it's probably time just to say that we will just have to agree that I am right!
