Indeed BB but flip the coin and view it from the other side and there must be many Landlords absolutely desperate for income. Rents (and rates) will no doubt still have to be paid to the Breweries whilst the sudden lock down a week or more ago will see many expensive barrels of beer and lager having to be poured down the drain. I have lot's of sympathy for them all but especially for the ones with no food trade.

Hmmmm seems this is the govts automatic solution to curtailing a viral attack in poultry. We know from experience how the govt dealt with foot and mouth in cattle and sheep and swine fever in pigs. So why did we rush to fly people back with a similar virus from wuhan on a chartered jumbo jet? Why also did we allow airports to import people free to travel immediately around the uk without either testing or quarantining them? Why did we allow people to go to holiday hotspots? Why did we allow schools and universities to re open?

All logic has been abandoned on the altar of political expedience hasn't it?

Given the overall psychopathic nature of the current UK government and Cummings in particular I think there can be no doubt whatsoever why the date of November 5th has been symbolically chosen as the official start date of 'lockdown 2'.

Good old Northern Ireland got their dates wrong. They believed they were reverting back the previous less onerous restrictions tomorrow until someone actually read the legislation they had put in place and the present lockdown ends at midnight tomorrow instead.

Read this earlier. Strange how fervent religious types put their own lives plus the lives of their fellow citizens at risk by ignoring the Covid-19 recommendations isn't it? In New York it's the Haredi Jews, in Blackburn and other Northern towns and cities it's the muslim community.

I've come around to the belief that unless a successful and effective vaccine is developed and distributed around the world that Covid will win out. Too may of the human race simply don't have the necessary wits and wherewithal to defeat it. All down imo to it not being fatal or horrific enough. A virus like bubonic plague or ebola which are almost 100% fatal would be the only thing to deter idiotic dickhead behaviour.

This is NSW opening back up. Restaurant ended up with all tables full.
95 people inside, about 20-30 outside. Max groups of 10.

Actually Drog, it shows that if you do the hard yards, then there is a "reward" at the end.
At the end of November just about the whole of Australia will be available for unlimited travel. Christmas, it seems, will be almost normal.

ODB, Cronulla is one of the best beaches (imo) in the Sydney area
