Those people at Bronte Beach can consider themselves very lucky (except one guy who was caught at another gathering later.)
If it happens again, i wouldn't surprise me for any offender to be taken into custody and placed in detention, awaiting deportation. Then they have to pay, any fine, cost of detention and cost of repatriation (airfare). Probably pretty close to $10-12000.00 depending how long they stay in detention.

The cops also hit a wedding reception the other day, fined 19 people $1000 each (including the bride and groom) for breaching the public health orders for the area they live in.
