Article from the left guardian that makes pretty grim reading, five other attacks stopped in the last 9 weeks. Is it time to 'round them up'. They are known, they are battle hardened, why are they walking free.

I've given my best course of action and I can't see any reason to change my mind.
1. We must drastically reduce immigration from muslim countries.
and
2. We need our own Guantanamo Bay, a place to detain anyone under suspicion until their risk status is cleared beyond reasonable doubt. Also any individual or 'board' making such judgement on these people must be accountable for their actions. Anything else is a betrayal of the safety of the citizens of our nation.

Off at a tangent but the BwD council must have made a fortune from of parking fines out of the Walker revolution at Ewood. Talk about greedy grabbing opportunist bstards!!! It was a shameful policy designed as a money grabbing policy to snatch a sneaky bounty off Rovers fans with no intention to support the Walker revolution which at that time was instilling unbelievable pride and status on the town. The supercillious bstards all sucked up to Kenny and the players at any freebie civic receptions didn't they? They ruined the enjoyment of thousands and likely put plenty off going for what is by definition a fortnightly event. Such a contrast with their fear of upsetting residents at the other side of town where parking is a lawless free for all 365 days per year.
We are our own worst enemies by slavishly continuing to elect the same Labour Council (and topically Labour MP's) who only seek to represent one section of our town year in and year out. We are the original Turkeys voting for Christmas.

And the third one:

I'll tell you a story (maybe again as I forget), my lad is Canadian born, adopted, he was refused UK citizenship (incorrectly) and stopped at the border on return from a family holiday when 5 years old, my wife is a refugee. After about 3 hours and after having his photo taken and finger printed he was 'allowed' back into the UK (to go to school) however we had to report to the border every 30 days. I'm born here my wife has a UK passport. I had to go all the way to the minster for immigration to get his case reviewed, he got his citizenship.

This guy was stopped from going to Syria, reported to the UK from Italy, we were warned about him, however he walks right into the UK to murder people unchecked and unhindered. WTF is going on!!!

I wonder whether an economic factor is going to start coming into play that might wake up the powers that be. Up until now its just been a section of working/lower middle class native Brits that have been going crazy over immigration levels. Labour encourage immigration, the Tories lie about reducing it, people above a certain level of income claim they need immigrant workers for their businesses.

So as long as its considered profitable by enough of the powerful, attempts at reducing immigration have been endlessly frustrated. But a significant factor in the latest attack is how many of the victims were foreign, likely tourists. If London starts to gain a reputation as the foremost terrorist target in the western world, what will that do to the tourism that's such a source of wealth?

That's a thought provoking point blue and white halves. I considered going to Paris for a city break last week , but with all the issues surrounding Islamic extremism in France I plumped for Prague .

I also have to admit that living in Blackburn I also wanted a break from the everyday signs of Islam ( Niqabs , Burkas , Long beards , Mosques , Madrasses etc )

Dunno chor, I don't want to be flippant but I bet he misses his next 30 day appointment.

I thought that yesterday when some Argentinians in London and who are regular visitors to London / England said that they are unlikely to return again.

Would it be wrong to not allow a person of interest and someone who was once charged with terror offence into the country? It's a good job we are in the EU all this information is so useful. And to think they debated not letting Trump in?!?
Siddiq Khan said earlier today that Trump won't be welcome in London. Cheeky git eh? Well if I'm to be blunt after recent events neither are you and yours cock!

A few of my friends are planning a trip to England in the next year or two (we're in the negotiating with the wives stage). We've unanimously agreed that we have no interest in going to London.

Next you'll be telling me that these British born terrorists have more right to be here than me.

Fact is Gav that whoever wins the GE has to deal with taking us out of Europe. To rub the President of the USA up the wrong way is just crazy. Not only that but in his position as Lord Mayor of London to slur Trump no matter how wrong he may or may not be and no matter how much Khan personally opposes his views is to slur the American nation. We can't afford to make enemies over the pond just on the basis of one man's likes and dislikes. Obviously diplomacy is not his strong point.

Well if you've never been before you'll be missing out, its a fantastic city, bit like going to East Coast US and not going to NYC.

Chock full of foreigners of every race and religion and it's a cess pit but tbh the buildings and the history should not be missed.

Is Yoda not a British citizen? If he is, then he must be a second class citizen if his rights to enter London are secondary to Khan's.
