Me too. Typical of the stream to be sussed and blitzed at such a crucial time in a crucial match.

A talented player pushed out to the wing to shoehorn Lowe & Williamson into the side.
Hang on a bit! He scored from the right side (also similar to what happened to Judge.) If you want to attack Bowyer then Cairney shouldn't be the target at all. You need to ask the question why King was shoved onto the wing to accommodate the tart liner supreme Jordan Rhodes. That was the most obvious mistake and especially after the way that he destroyed Premier league teams Swansea and Stoke from the centre forward position.

I think that the Cairney comment was correct. He was nearly always played out of position and the same applied to King. Two golden opportunities completely wasted by poor management.

Excellent signing for Bolton . I’m sure he’ll do a good job for them . I’d have liked to have seen him back at the Rovers as I still have doubts that Smallwood can step up to Championship level .

I’ll certainly give him a decent welcome when he appears at Ewood , he always gave 100% and wore the famous blue & white halves with pride .

Fans seem to be more generous to returning players when their club has ditched the player rather than the other way round.

Hopefully this will override the scapegoaters vitriol towards Lowe, or they'll be too busy snarling at Samuel/Williams to have time for Lowe anyway.

It's not scapegoating to identify obvious weak links in a team.
Rovers players most criticised in last 10 years by season:

17/18 - Samuel, striker, black
16/17 - Lowe, defensive mid, mixed race
15/16 - Akpan, defensive mid, black
14/15 - Williamson, defensive mid, mixed race
13/14 - Lowe, defensive mid, mixed race
12/13 - Murphy, centre mid, white
11/12 - N'Zonzi (incredibly, but I remember it), defensive mid, mixed race
10/11 - Pedersen, left-wing, white
09/10 - Andrews, defensive mid, white
08/09 - Roberts, striker, black

I was gonna do 20 years but I think I've made my point. If you play defensive mid, duck. If you play defensive mid and you aint white, ask for a transfer.

The fan collective identifying a weak link in a professional football team is about as discerning as Peter Stringfellow attempting to identify the star signs of his last 50 shags in my opinion.
