I can say from experience that he'll forget all but a few of his goals BUT he'll remember that miss till his dying day!:pensive:

Equaliser scored by a 40 year old striker! Wonder if they want to swap him for two 20 year olds?

What a dick! Penalties like that are for when you are 3(+) up with less than 10 mins remaining. Just imagine the thoughts of the board, manager and teammates should they come out of the hat with a big club next round and then lose the replay? I trust that will be his last spot kick for Blackpool.

Lending my support to Shrewsbury Town in the absence of a Rovers presence in the fourth round. Expecting the fans to "turn it up to 11":

And let's hope The Shrews' most famous fan makes an appearance:

Is that some sort of measuring tool? I think I might become an honorary canary,

Just watching Brentford v Leicester. BBC did well to select this match. Currently 0-1 to Leicester. I'm loving the pace, tempo and commitment of these two teams, seems the FA Cup means something to both of them. Hope the lads are watching closely from their hotel bar.

8071 on t'turf today according to the BBC.

But beware this is another example of after the Lord Mayor's show isn't it? I'm already nervous about the QPR match after we beat Sheff Wed 0-5 and the Owls won away at QPR last night, but an even better example of the effects of motivation v demotivation was today as Burnley after winning away at Old Trafford a few days ago have been humbled by bottom of the table Norwich.

btw I imagine the 7500 dingles are disappointed and angry but I'd wager Sean Dyche will be quietly celebrating this evening.

Hanley said afterwards that scoring the opening goal was one of his "most satisfying moments on a football pitch" after he received stick from the Burnley fans for his Blackburn past. Needless to say, he had the last laugh ( BBC report )

I’m sure the famous blue and white halves were in his mind when his headed goal hit the back of the net . Get in !!!!!

Im sure you’re right Drog and the extra FA Cup games might have stretched his squad and affected their league position. However I couldn’t bear that lot getting to an FA Cup Final or even worse winning it , so I’m happy they’re out .

Man City's already fairly straightforward passage into the next round has effectively been turned into a 'bye' after Kevin Friend sends off Fulham's centre half and awards a penalty after just 4 mins! I don't suppose he had any choice given the inflexibility of the rules but effectively the tie is now a dead rubber.
I doubt the BBC's cup runneth over at the moment. Worst 4th round draw in history now compounded by one of their highlight matches ruined for the spectators and viewers alike. Still I expect it's a bargaining chip to get future FA Cup rights for next to nowt.

.... Now where's the telly control? I think the long lost 'test card' will now be more interesting. That schoolgirl will have grey hair and be wearing a twin set now I expect.:)

Clicked back and it's 3-0 with the spectators looking bored to death.

I cant believe Shrews v Livvie will present much of a difference.

The FA Cup needs to either be put out of it's misery or Premier League teams banned from entry.
