Interesting....
City player through on goal dragged down in the area today. Result Pen and RED card.
Shrews player through on goal dragged down in the area today. Result Pen and YELLOW card.

Can anyone figure that out?

Reading the rules, one didn't attempt to play the ball whereas the other did.

Maybe. He sure spoilt the day for all the travelling fans and his team mates didn’t he?

Liverpool beat Shrewsbury thanks to an own goal and the ever-flawed VAR ruling out a Shrewsbury goal for offside "in the build up".
What other competition has different rules depending on which stadium you're playing in?
Had the match been at Shrewsbury with no VAR they would have gone 1-0 up.

Only one or two at NUFC worth watching but they've just gone 2-3 up away at Oxford thanks to a wonderful run and strike in the dying minutes of extra time by the only player showing any desire and aggression Saint Maximin..... He can come to Ewood if he likes!

There's more chance of an Oxford player coming. Just so long as he's not a defender.

LiVARpool again.

That Saint Maximin does rather remind me of a left wing version of Traore at Wolves. Powerful, tricky and fast. Real handfuls the pair of em and matchwinners to boot.

Taxi for Mahrez? Although it's not beyond the imagination that City might buy him for the bench simply to stop anyone else getting him.

That was my thought, the lad is too good for Wolves and too good for City to allow a rival to get him.

They’ve apparently lost three out of their last four games, are the cracks setting in?

They are under "yesterday's man" at Spuds!

However whilst I'm talking about Spurs.

Memo to little fat Spurs fan who picked on Eric Dier's kid brother, either learn to man up and stand your ground after you've gobbed off at a kid OR .......ditch the orange hood! :D
