Hi Graeme, I was brought up in Leyland and know the place well - even worked at the old Leyland Bus & Truck and Farrington Foundry. I have been to watch Killie a couple of times, I knew the Secretary of The Killie Supporters Trust (John) via him working at Hunterston A nuclear site.

And being a killie fan as a kid was hard, had an ex killie player as my p.e teacher at high school too, that was fun on a cold September day on the top pitch ( which was above the night of the school ) with him screaming run for the bloody ball Graeme lol .No surprise there then Graeme!

I think your memory is deceiving you Marlowe..... especially with regards to Per Frandsen! Valery was a tough nut but I think he'd gone before the season started. Worse still we got relegated in that kit and failed to get promoted until we wore the kappa strip. Must say Kappa are among my favourite kits too and especially the first one.
O ay it still fits but it was too big when I got it lol fits nice now though... A friend of mine played for rovers back then and gave me his old tops, that the reason I went to rovers in the first place as he got me tickets lol you know a Scots man and free stuff
