I don't dislike Dack, I'd love him to be in the team but he hasn't gained the required level of fitness on the training pitch.

He doesn't seem capable or want to do.
I refer you to JDTs recent statement on this subject and to Dacks most recent
appearance for the first team.

He's a complete waste of talent, that's what annoys me. We looked after him, quite rightly, during his injuries and he's had plenty of time to repay us by getting fit, it's a minimum requirement for a footballer.

I hope he's been given until year end to attain the required standard of fitness and is released from his contract if he fails.

I've also stated that he should always get a game before Hirst or Vale.

It may seem like hate to you as you seem besotted with him and may wish to have his babies. 🤠🤣

Your dislike of Brad is totally unfounded. You have not answered my question. You said he doesn't try in training. My question was, have you watched him? I think not!
But then All I guess your argument works both ways.

Anyway seems he's been interviewed for a move..... What Bradley Dack told Tony Mowbray in post-match chat after Blackburn Rovers omission - LancsLive
May be worth discussing whether Sland might have won the other night if they'd signed Dack in the summer.

The whole Dack in or out debate is wearing a bit thin now and if we're not careful it will get in the way of our progress this season. My final thoughts on it are this.

Deep down, as a new manager in this league, JDT knows that if the Rovers are successful, if he (lets pray) gets us promoted to the Premiership, it would almost certainly lead to him getting poached by a bigger club, maybe even one of the monsters. As such he's in the shop window, It'd be romantic to believe that he want's the Rovers to be successful for the fans and because he's fallen in love with the club, but I think we all know that his main motivation for the Rovers doing well would be for it to be a reflection of his managerial abilities and maybe lead him to the big time. That's fine with me, if Rovers do well, he'll do well and if he does well, Rovers will do well, that'll do for me.

So having said all that, I can't believe that a new manager desperate to do well for himself and the club would leave out one of the best - if not the best - players at the club if there weren't genuine reasons for it. Everyone's guessing really as to the actual reason but I'd be amazed if it was just JDT taking a stance against Dack because he doesn't like him.

I'm not giving false praise but I'm sure Alan has forgotten more about the Rovers than I'll ever know but it's time to move on and put it to bed and concentrate on some of the super young players we've got coming through. If things change and JDT genuinely feels Dack can improve the team then I've no doubt he'll play him.

I'm not the one claiming he doesn't "move his fat arse! in training."
When he's played he has put everything into it and that should be recognised. What entitles you to say "He has not reached the required level of fitness" You have no idea.

Sorry but I could only attribute your over the top rating of Dack to some sort of misguided infatuation. There was also a big smiley face in there.

Fortunately the manager has a different opinion.

No need for anyone to get personal or aggressive. None of us have access to the facts of the matter. We only have conjecture and opinions.

Maybe Drog is right and his wage is too high so he's being forced out. After what he has done for this club that is nasty and wrong.
Look football is a harsh business. Jack always insisted that Brfc was a business and had to be run as a business. So head over heart must rule......

1. Dack will be 29 in January. If we don't get a fee for him then we never will.

2. Dack has the best strikers instinct that's for sure but can his knees get him around as they once did? Could they break down again? That is an unknown factor for anybody with no access to Brockhall.

3. Dack is up there with our biggest earners so it's quite reasonable to assume the owners want him off the wage bill as his minutes in the pitch come at one hell of a cost per minute and as we are currently equal top what does he bringto the party?

4. I'd assume broughton and JDT have new players targeted for January and it's quite possible that the owners have told them they can have them if they reduce the wage bill first and get some money in. Dack would be the obvious target imo.

5. Dack has a great eye for goal as I've said but we have a number of replacements for his position "in the hole" already on the books in Wharton, Buckley, Szmodics, Dolan, Vale and Hirst.

I don't really think I need go on do I? It's a shame but imo Dack is now surplus to requirements. As for the rovers, the club have supported him financially through his recovery since he first snapped his cruciate against Wigan years ago, just as they did with Matt Jansen all those years ago. We all have great memories of dack so let's not see them tarnished.

I don't think I made personal remarks, tried a bit of fun to lighten the discussion.
Please accept my sincere apologies if you thought that, it wasn't my intention.
It's good to talk and have different opinions.
I too have no problem with differences of opinion provided they do not get personal. If I suffered from a sense of humour defect I apologise too. Let's just say we don't agree on this point and just get on with it.
Reference to Drog's point 5/ I know we have plenty of replacements but it's a matter of quality over quantity. I have only seen him in the cup and first team and in my opinion the quality is still there and if they want to sell him for a fee the best way is to play him.

I’m with Al on this. I still believe Dack has something to offer and I suspect that once JDT has worked out the strengths of all the playing staff he will play him.

I agree as well but there are rumours about a bust up between them now so let’s wait and see how this will end.

I’ve seen those rumours, all Chinese whispers with no evidence to support.

No smoke without fire is there? tbh if Dack considers himself fully fit then I'd expect him to kick off in the manager's office.
