New Kit

Nice kit but whatever is on the feet of Bennet and Lenihan is awful.

Green with blue. OMG no fashion or colour cordination.;)

Probably the only time Mulgrew will wear the kit.

Is that photo real or photoshop? Something odd about it. Charlie's right leg and the long necks. Weird.

Photoshop for sure! (IMO) Doubt any of these 3 will be here by season start - maybe just to try to con one or two 10yr olds to buy the shirt

What's with the weird patch under the arms? Did they fuck up the halves again?
Good spot. Looks like they have. This may be a little clearer.

I think it's a part for added arm flexbility buit from the sleave as easier and cheaper and hence same colour. Actually I have no idea but it spoils the look.

Aren't shirts supposed to be tucked in?

Quite like the new kit. Always prefer the ones without any red in them.

The collar ? Not so sure and I'd have preferred white socks with blue rather than blue socks with white

Having said all that , it is world famous and I wouldn't swap our blue and white halves for Real Madrid !

Well at least Dafabet haven't tried to back out of their final year. Surely top of the L1 table for shirt sponsor? I guess some clubs haven't confirmed their deals yet but still...

Top in what sense? Doesn't sit overly well with me having a betting company for a shirt sponsor. Depends how you see football betting I suppose. Since their expansion into mobile apps and the absolute tsunami of advertising that has ensued ever since, I've been getting more and more irritated by it. Its always been a somewhat shady practice of taking money from people on the basis of addiction and lack of intelligence. These days it seems to have reached a level of practical psychological war on punters.

I don't mind it it at all. Love a punt or two ,whether real bet or profit accumulating.

I do. There must be some people in real shit through all this on-line gambling. In fact I know one or two.

Money obviously.

To be honest I thought we'd made peanuts on any shirt sponsor since the end of the Crown Paints era. Couldn't think of any other way to explain spending 2 years either without one/with a charity. Just figured we were doing it almost for appearances these days, maybe the players and staff got a free £100 bet each or something.

Dave Biggar did the deal and it was Alan Myers who brought him in. Previously worked in the US and always wanted to go back there so Myers knew it wouldn't be long term. I'm sure it was ranked quite highly in comparison to other Championship clubs.

Betting company could fit, if you think about it.
If you're implying what I think you are not sure how it relates to shirt sponsorship.

Like I say Biggar did this deal and Myers told me that himself. Venkys had nothing to do with it in all likelihood (or clowns like Cheston, Shaw, etc) which is probably why its been one of the few decent deals in recent years.

Looks nice. Still won't be buying it. Not with the scum still here. And definitely not at £50, especially for a L1 shirt. Remove Venkys, charge no more than £30 and sold.
