Breathless entertainment and for no good reason other than pride. It does however provide a valuable lesson that emotion is a greater motivator than money.

However 6 goals shipped in just two matches illustrates that City's strength is up top and in midfield and they can be very vulnerable if a team 'gets at em'. The admirable Wigan performance against them proved that they do have an Achilles heel and both Liverpool and Man Utd have exploited it within 4 days. Don't fear them and defend in depth, just get on the front foot and get around the back of them.
