There weren't many more thanks to the bloody ref. Whistle happy, continually stopped the play (along with any chance of entertainment). Ignorant, incompetent, inadequate you name it and he was it. The old saying that 'a good ref never get's noticed' was borne out today
What a knob Schteeve is! Post match comments.........
QPR manager Steve McClaren:
"We should never have lost the game. I do think we did enough to win it. Hows that then? Stats say QPR had only 1 feeble shot (which I don't rem) on target? You are just trying to kid the QPR fans back in Shepherds Bush.
"We weren't good enough on transition or with the ball, didn't create enough. but they were never going to score. Really? DG spurned two two one on ones which he usually dispatches with ease.
"I thought in terms of defending with the team, their (QPR players) attitude was magnificent again and that was the only way they were going to score, with a bad decision from a referee.
"It was never a penalty, I have seen it. The linesman an actually never gave it, he walked away and the referee from a bad position from behind gave the penalty. I've seen it and it is! Not sure the defender meant to foul Brereton but he did take his trailing leg. Anyway ... We should have had two bloody penalties.
"It's a bad decision which has cost us a point and continuation of our run." Good, serves you right for your stupid comments.
