Loved the riverside, when everyone was stamping their feet, it was like a roar standing underneath.
I always seemed to end up standing behind one of the posts though/
Notice all the kids sitting over the wall, in that photo.

Aye, bit like standing under a railway arch with a train thundering above. Glory days!

It was full too both top and bottom! Must have been a 30000 crowd back then. Most of them will have died by now, most of their kids and grandchildren will have moved away following the demise of local industry or been lured away by the hopelessness of football without a max wage amplified by the constant advertising / marketing of a few big city clubs by the press and media .... Oh and most of their houses will be occupied by non football supporting immigrant families with no ingrained family history to Brfc.
Damn shame of course, almost sinful and a betrayal of the English footballing public but as the old saying goes "the only constant in life is change". Just a pity that change isn't always for the better.

If you put spurs v Blackburn 1966 in youtube Rovers are on match of the day.Good 40 mins.Jimmy was just on his way back after suffering from some terrible desease, caught at ewood from a ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ•
Might be a good theme for BB's review of our away match at Bloomfield Road: dogs and donkeys. Not sure where Kate or Belinda would fit in
