Ask any French or German, they can spot a Brit as soon as you walk into a bar.
Mind you I did experience one occasion in Nurtingen when a local thought I was German, or must have had German parents.

If I despised the Conservatives with a passion I wouldn’t live in the Ribble Valley ( a true blue constituency ) and enjoy the delights of the leafy suburbs . I’d live somewhere like Blackburn amongst the brown and black people I welcome to this country
If I despised the English and called the fellow countrymen I disagreed with ‘ Little Englanders’ at every turn ( even though I haven’t a clue what it means ) I wouldn’t live in England .
If I lauded the EU at every turn and despised my fellow countrymen for a democratic vote I disagreed with , I’d now go and live in an EU country taking advantage of free movement whilst I still can
...... but I’m not a “ do as I say not as I do “ hypocrite so Im staying in this great country and will continue to appreciate everything it has to offer.

Had a fair bit of rain yesterday. Up to 6 inches in places. some had 4 inches in an hour. Surprisingly we only had about 1 inch here, most of that in an hour or so. House sprung a leak, but nothing too serious.
Just waiting to see if golf has been called off.
Crackers isn't it? Most of us had suffered some form of playground bullying but very very few got 100 grand for it. Not nice but it teaches you a number of important lessons e.g. life isn't fair / people can be bastards / learn to smell trouble coming and steer clear.

Heard the lad did it because a.load of girls and the lad battered his sister, the syrians dad been on today his daughter got attacked for wearing the infamous veil ...no idea if its true , someone mentioned it at brew time
All I can say to this is 'About time too!' After my daughter graduated after a 3 year course and with a debt of 30k I said to her 'imo you could have done that in 18 months' she replied 'Dad.. I could have done it in 12'. Ever since I've recognised Bliar's policy that everyone should have a university education for what it is... just another stealth tax on the population.

Its funny how the do gooders raised 200k for a "15" year old ( he looks older) who got "bullied" ( story do i ng the rounds is the syrian smacked the "bully's " sister first) but totally ignored ,let alone raised any money for the young victims of sexual grooming or race hate the other way round.

A terribly sad case . We have laws against forced marriages , in the same way we have laws about FGM but why are so few cases prosecuted ? This article says it’s down to victims not wanting to involve the perpetrators - usually the parents .
This should be fertile ground for the Women’s Equality Party , Me Too movement , feminist action groups etc . Support women like Ruby & the forced marriage unit and get into these backward communities and attempt to educate them about girls & women’s rights
Instead it’s just head in the sand - don’t go there . Much more important to go apes**t about a stupid twerking question at a football presentation or a historical pussy grabbing comment
