care to expand on this post please?Me too but I suspect for slightly different reasons to you Chaddy.
There are too many syllables in that one for the average football fan.Jon Dahl Tomasson's Blue and White Army.
or a head coach who will play attacking football and get us promotion. Will talk about the club in positive light and will take us to that next level former managers couldn'tOr a stepping stone for Scandi players to impress and make the first step to playing in the Prem.
The last manager favoured attacking football and he always talked about the club in a positive light. If keeping a top striker (like Fulham's Mitrovic and or Bournemouth's Solanke) in 29 goal Adam Armstrong could have made the difference is open to conjecture.or a head coach who will play attacking football and get us promotion. No I am genuine and positive about JDT and his appointment. I think he can take us to the next level and he has talked the club up from day one. For me, JDT will demand high standard and his playing background suggested to me he is winner. The last manager favoured attacking football and he always talked about the club in a positive light. If I were you though Chaddy I'd keep my own council as football is a results business. Mowbray finished 8th in a very difficult league whilst the new Manager has a lot still to prove. Bigging him up endlessly won't make a scrap of difference when season 22/23 kicks off in a few weeks.
I prefer not to be labelled an optimist nor a pessimist but rather a realist. If you don't want to be excite and positive about him fine,
Well I'm positive person by nature and I think JDT will take us back to PL.I prefer not to be labelled an optimist nor a pessimist but rather a realist.
I think you’ve adopted the “anyone but Mowbray as manager” stance and you are placing a lot of faith in JDT. I too am a positive person and I wish him success but don’t forget our owners haven’t changed.Well I'm positive person by nature and I think JDT will take us back to PL.
chaddy I'd estimate your age as top thirties although I could be wrong, but that would mean you will have seen at least 14 managers in the hot seat at BRFC. Forgive me for asking but how many times have you said the above whenever a new Manager has turned up?Well I'm positive person by nature and I think JDT will take us back to PL.
That’s my line!I prefer not to be labelled an optimist nor a pessimist but rather a realist.

Unproven? Seriously?Wellllll . . . . . . .nobody saw that coming. Let alone all those bullshitters on Tw@tter (including the so-called journalists in the know).
To be fair my only knowledge of him was seeing him on MOTD playing for Newcastle and ´scoring´ a flukey goal back in the days when we were in the Premier League.
It's an uninspiring appointment however they try and dress it up and not one to get the season tickets flying off the shelves like hot cakes .
But we are where we are with the useless Venkys. He fits the mould of unproven manager and possibly cheaper than the "names" banded around.
Fortunately he's not one of the nightmare scenario managers and starts with a clean slate and best wishes.
So we'll see what happens . . At least it's not Mowbray!!!
The start of another journey . . . . . .
A couple of good interviews there with Jon and Greg. Quite clearly as soon as Greg was appointed he put forward Jon’s name as coach. Like Jon says twice in his interview, “the project found me.” I wasn’t aware that Jon had turned down offers from two separate countries champions and who will both be playing in the champions league this year.
