I am happy to have a national vote in regards this, it will not change now. The US uses it too in most veins of life.We don't have to like it and it is our democratic right to object!

Just as an aside you do know democracy means the rule of the elite?
Elite or majority ?I am happy to have a national vote in regards this, it will not change now. The US uses it too in most veins of life.

We're fully metric, have been for years.I was posing the question, we have a mish mash now anyway when you look around at things, pipe threads are BSP, Aluminium extrusions are Imperial along with gas fittings. India is still using Imperial measurements. Not sure about OZ.
In summer, It's too warm for a pint, so (in NSW) we drink Schooners about 3/4 of a pint or a stubbie (bottle) (375Ml)Whot no pints ?
The echo chamber effect in action, with every passing week they seem to be getting more bitter and twisted.Just been on the "dark side" reading the Brexit thread. The remoaners are having a whale of a time telling each other we're doomed and not a response from the Brexiteers. When do you think the penny will drop that we're all here?
I have seen that, jeez that post you responded to is off the ceiling(and it is not the only one) the anger displayed is palpable.I just left a note for people over there
Funnily enough, B&Wh, I never copped a ban in the years since 1996, but it go heavier and heavier as time went on, to such an extent that I rarely posted. I used to want to post opinions on the Rovers, but as soon as I did, i'd be concerned about people saying 'you live on the other side of the world, so your opinions count for nought"The echo chamber effect in action, with every passing week they seem to be getting more bitter and twisted.
"Mind you when people get their opinions from a piece of toilet paper like this it's hardly surprising.
I've really had it with Leave voters. You've screwed the country for generations and now you're going to get what you asked for. Enjoy."
That from a moderator, no wonder we all got banned.
The big issue is YES to S8 but what about the battery YES or NO. My household is having a referendum. The Thai wife, our 12 year old son and me but we'll not give the wife a vote or a bloody new phone and I'll be chairman and extra casting vote if required. Democracy works.and here's me, outside the EU along with billions of others, wondering whether to buy the next Samsung S8?
Shit, Brexit or S8, S8 or Brexit?
errr..... was that one of mine?Funnily enough, B&Wh, I never copped a ban in the years since 1996, but it go heavier and heavier as time went on, to such an extent that I rarely posted. If you nail your colours to the mast then your opinion is just as valid as anyone's IMOFunnily enough, B&Wh, I never copped a ban in the years since 1996, but it go heavier and heavier as time went on, to such an extent that I rarely posted.
