Here is the intro Michael. You'll have to subscribe for the rest. Beware though - you won't like it - and this is from your beloved government.

Britain will be left worse off under all Brexit scenarios, with financial services, chemicals, clothing, manufacturing, food and drink, cars and retailing among the sectors worst hit, according to secret government analysis.

Lots of governmental statements have been wrong though haven't they? Here's one from the top. https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/9...ameron-referendum-WEF-Davos-2018-Project-fear

The German ambassador nails the Brexit mindset of the 37%. Perhaps he's looked on here with constant references to the "4th Reich" and eulogising of the warmonger Churchill? Either way, you cannot blame the 400m citizens of the EU giving up on the UK. The little England island mentality will ultimately be its downfall

Please don't quote that left wing rag on here and I won't quote the Daily Mail.

Out is fine. They need us more than we need them. They are just posturing.
It's this sort of deluded British exceptionalism that is greeted with hoots of derision in Europe.

Barnier has always said that no deal can be "a la carte". The UK is about to find out what that means.

Why can't it? Because the Eurocrats say so? What happened to the UK stance in the debate, is that not for consideration too?

Oh really. Listen to what the EU has said from the start: the UK is either in or out. There will be no middle ground.
Given that we buy more off them than they buy off us that would be cutting their nose off to spite their face, wouldn't it?

btw Says in the Thunderer today that left wingers are uglier in appearance than their counterparts on the right of centre. Do you agree? :p

He's the OUTGOING Ambassador. I'm rather more interested, as should you be, in what his replacement is saying.

Yeah reported in the Times this morning too and it added " there is a school of thought that all militant socialists really need is a bath , a haircut and to find themselves a nice girlfriend " :p
