Don't watch it then. I wouldn't. Can't see why so many people (especially your age) still watch any old garbage as long as its BBC, ITV, C4 or C5. Won't even get started on how redundant the license fee is.

Have you explored Amazon or Netflix? Better than most trash that gets forced down people's throats on regular Tv schedules. On the other hand it seemed easier in some ways having 4 tv channels compared to all the information overload now. Of course I was a kid then and wasn't as restless as I am now.

I won't. I didn't intend to watch it last night but the telly was on as I was cooking. The worst bit is that it wasn't at all funny. I've never found him funny anyway but Boyle's supposed to be a comedian isn't he? Like Glastonbury and this protracted Grenfell issue it was all just an obvious and completely OTT exercise in criticising the PM and the govt at every opportunity and pushing forward their extreme left wing agenda.

Frankie Boyle was quite funny when he first came about on Mock the Week, but now he just tries to say outrageous stuff to get cheap laughs and twitter fury. He's basically the Scottish offspring of Chubby Brown and Katie Hopkins. And his beard is ridiculous.

At last I can subscribe to sky sports just for the cricket and rugby . I can ditch premier league football and it's overpaid , overhyped and largely overseas prima donnas - I'll save a bit of money too . Happy days !

I rarely watch tv but my brother-in-law mentioned Game of Thrones on Sunday. I had never heard it but when he mentioned the sex and nudity I asked to borrow a boxed set which I now have to watch on my lonesome this weekend.

To be truthful I am thinking of dumping my tv. It is a waste of money. My neighbour has not had a telly for years and the TV Licensing mafia try to force entry to her property every year.....she read books for goodness sake.

I would rather have a good book, decent glass of Port and a well toasted crumpet with lemon curd any day.
