Man City fan edits footage of Bruno Fernandes' derby equaliser (msn.com)

Message to Citeh fans everywhere...... get over it ffs! How would you feel if these incidents had happened to City?
Sherwood had a bloody good goal disallowed by Paul Durkin for an alleged push on Keane by Shearer when no one else in the ground saw a foul and the Utd players didn't even claim for one. Especially after Shearer had been fouled on the stroke of full time by a far worse aerial challenge just seconds before. Check both out here for the foul on Shearer (not given) from 3.40 fwd Man Utd 1 - 0 Blackburn Rovers | On This Day | HIGHLIGHTS | January. 22. 1995 - YouTube

And then this...... Man Utd have always played to a different set of rules and got away with it all my bloody life! I'd like to hear the City fans complaints if this complete bent travesty had happened to them by Gerald Ashby (8mins in) as Berg was sent off totally unjustly after a brilliant tackle on Sharp at Ewood v MU
Blackburn vs Man Utd 23/10/1994- Premier League 1994/1995 - YouTube

Two undeserved and bent results v our biggest rivals. 6 points definitely gifted to them and at least two robbed from us. How we won the title in the face of those odds was a miracle! I bet the Referees society missed out on their bonus big time!

There is no doubt in my mind that Referees have favoured Man Utd for years. Every match we played them in the Prem was mired in some sort of controversy which advantaged them! There is a litany of instances. Those two examples above are why I am a firm believer in VAR as both those events would surely have been overruled. Small unfashionable clubs don't stand a chance in the Prem.

I wouldn’t rely on VAR, see my recent comments re Wolves disallowed goal at Anfield! It’s a bloody joke is that VAR.

No it isn't ODB. All those errors blamed on var are human errors and since it's introduction there are far less of those in the premier league these days.
It's that which needs addressing. However it does give everybody something to discuss ... and moan about.

So a human error caused a particular camera at Anfield to be defective causing a perfectly good goal to be ruled out? LiVARpool won the replay against Wolves last night I see. Cheats.

Nothing wrong with VAR, It's the individuals that cannot operate the technology. More training necessary rather than 'a job for the boys'.

Do you listen to 606 ?

Ah I think I’ve got it. You must have shares in the equipment as you are the only person I know in favour of it!

I find all discussions in the media agenda'd and immature. Lots of decisions were referred to VAR over the weekend yet the only ones being criticised were the mistakes ... all caused by human error! No one seems to want to comment on the correct ones yet without VAR WHU would have been 3 down and game over to Chelsea after 20 minutes. They ended up with a draw and a much needed point! As I've said before but for Mykloscow we could have been beaten to the title by MU! With VAR I'm sure those horrific decisions by Durkin and Ashby would not have stood.

Do you really believe that if VAR was around then that it would have gone against RFW?

Obviously it would have. It's gone against Klopp and Guardiola hasn't it? As I said earlier (as well as you) the press and media are all over any wrong decisions like a rash. Good decisions by VAR barely get a mention. The pundits in the MoTD / Sky studios all claimed how wrong the two decisions v MU which I mentioned were so just imagine the fuss they'd made if VAR had been around back then.

I’m not having that. All the match officials, the premier league and the FA were frightened of him. His team were the only ones to pick and choose which competitions they played in remember?

Im reading his updated autobiography at the moment, very interesting.

You really should accept it ODB, if you think about it your argument is counter productive to your stance, VAR is the best thing possible to negate the influence of managers like Ferguson who bully Referees. Sitting 150 miles away from his red faced rants as it turns purple is the best antidote. What can't speak can't lie can it?

It's quite obviously an improvement from what went on before but of course no one mentions the vast majority of decisions which are correct.

Maybe I'll count up all the correct calls whilst you wait ODB.:D
