Interesting piece in The Guardian about ToMo's upcoming trip to India
Most of it recapping our painful past.

The last paragraph or so gives ToMo's take on it

Mowbray spoke of needing to rebuild supporters’ enthusiasm and trust, and hoping to prompt more engagement from the owners when he travels to Pune. “I haven’t seen them for a year; I speak on the phone every now and then,” he said. “I met them last summer; they are nice, humble people; I think they have been poorly advised and the club has been managed poorly. I’m just trying to bring some honesty, integrity and hard work. I think financially they can do it.

“But they have been burned so much, maybe they need to get a bit of love and enjoyment back in football, and hopefully this year might reinvigorate that.”

Perhaps it will; as with much of Venky’s approach in the calamitous years since they decided to buy long‑established Blackburn Rovers, it is all a bit of a puzzle.

There name was over the door no question of that so the buck will always stop there but the real villains of the piece were those two flaky shysters who conned, cheated and lied their way to a bloody fortune.

This club is struggling to pay it's way. Unfortunately it seems no one really wants to buy us and the bills keep rolling in.

So where do we look for funding help to keep the club afloat until the finances can be stabilised?....

Walker Family? Not a chance.

The two Ians? A romantic notion which I am careful not to dismss but where would they find the fundiing? Both are quite wealthy I believe but I doubt they are wealthy enough to take BRFC on. I wonder if they could tick the right boxes to suit the criteria set by Rothschilds?

Venymob? There is only this lot who tick the above box whether we like it or not.

Any Venky lovers out there don't forget they gave us the outstanding candidate 2 years ago and tore up Warnock's contract.

Yeah that's the most appalling, evil thing they have done even though there's no definitive evidence of a ripped up contract. Coyle's worse than Kean absolutely. You even called his son a cancer (this after his Dad had left) and this is a guy who works with amputees, etc. I've forgotten about Coyle mostly because I don't see the reason to keep fucking hounding the guy. Bloody hell Appleton, Berg, KEAN all riveting successes but single Coyle out. Granted Berg was an ex player and a title winner but the others?

Sick of your psychotic obsession with him. He was a bad manager that is IT. He defended Kean once as did others. So what? It's tedious bullying and in a way as bad as Kean. Except the latter took being a sociopath to an all new level. Stop pretending this isn't about Burnley and another captivating 6 fingered joke. Coyle's the one thing you single out it's ridiculous. "Outstanding candidate, outstanding candidate, outstanding candidate" blah sodding blah. Redfearn and Slade they were really outstanding but of course Warnock's contract was heinously ripped up. Couldn't be any truth that he didn't want to work a full week. Maybe at Cardiff he does but maybe they offered him MORE? Could it actually be that simple or did evil Coyle rip up his contract and sign his with the blood of slain animals? Maybe children? Who knows the sheer depths of Coyle's satanic cult.

Look I saw someone else attacking Coyle's son on twitter and just flipped. Kean was x 1000 times more of a sociopath than Coyle. Would that have made it right to abuse Kean's son (who's disabled and probably not on twitter) as well? No of course not. Yet I point out Howard Walker's a bit of a prick and get called obsessed.

The cancer I was referring to was the stakeholders/SEM/Kentaro.

I've never held out any hope we'd get different owners. It took years for the Trust to find a buyer even when we were in the PL and had our one substantial revenue source, TV money.

Since we've lost that we've haemorrhaged £100m just to have a slow Championship decline. Why would anyone want to buy a business in that situation?

For better or worse, we're stuck with the chicken pluckers for the long haul. At least this season has shown the occasional better is possible under them.

All the decisions are still made in Pune but given the upturn in our fortunes I wonder who has been advising them of late. maybe the law of averages has been at work in that employ enough managers and sooner or later you'll get one that knows what the job is about.

That's a bit too vague for me Abbey. Don't tell me Myles has signed for Hartlepool?
I'll try to ignore the barbs at anybody who doesn't share your bitterness.
