A proper Manager would have noted Italy's reliance on Pirlo and put a man marker on him. Back in the day Ramsey would have used Nobby Stiles to get inside Pirlo's shirt, deny him the ball first off then deny him any time and space on it and we'd have dominated the game. Like so many of his predecessors Woy hadn't a bloody clue.I would play him in a Pirlo role in a three as I think he'd be really useful sat in front of the 2 CB's as there outlet to avoid by passing midfield.
And does my reply not suggest to you that it was typed with a sense of humour?Does the second line not make it clear I am playing? You can see what you like and we all see things differently.
Obviously not given my reply! And does my reply not suggest to you that it was typed with a sense of humour?
When he has played in midfield he has bossed the game without over excerpting himself - sort of old pro keeping himself within his limits styleI would say that centre back requires more physically than centre midfield but I know you mean it slightly differently than I do. I am referring to bodily strength and I think you mean stamina so we have our own opinions. I feel that while Mulgrew is by far our most accomplished footballer I feel that he lacks a bit of strength and bulk for centre back and as you say he is a bit injury prone. I think he is more likely to be injured up against a big striker than playing in midfield but as I specified we need to sign another centre back before we have that option.
He was probably up there with one of our worst ever players. No redeeming feature, couldn't pass, poor tackler,he had an engine and marked space.“Finally, what makes a club is the fans. Coming into the team they've done nothing but back me through the good and rough times, they deserve to see the club have success again and I'm sure it will come sooner rather than later. They saw me achieve my dream and being the captain was an honour and privilege. "
I doubt I'd have penned that. 50% of those fans were at best unsupportive and at worst malicious and confidence draining in their sheep like unfair and largely ignorant criticism of him.
I said he'd be at least a level above BRFC this season. Well done to him. The water carrier that every team needs, I'd wager Arry will get the best out of him.
1. I think it should be 'down' there. He was probably up there with one of our worst ever players. No redeeming feature, couldn't pass, poor tackler,he had an engine and marked space.
Supposedly destined for greatness as wellWe have signed a kid on loan from WBA.
