Wigan manager Paul Cook taking a pop at Rovers in the press. Had to start that with "Wigan manager" because nobody's ever heard of the prick prior to this season.

Played for Burnley back when we were tubbing them under Souness and you can hear the Dingle in him there, can't wait to talk about us right after they've been promoted.

I have a begrudging admiration for the way he sets his teams up , a mixture of skill , physicality and falling over at the slightest opportunity to win free kicks - that tactic got him a draw at Ewood , when his team were being hammered .

However he is an obnoxious dick and has no integrity whatsoever. Add to that the time he spent with the Dingles means he can’t get the world famous blue & white halves out of his head .

Most unlikely now. The play off teams are virtually decided barring a couple of freak results involving Plymouth and Charlton.
Shrewsbury deserve it of course but for the record my money is on Rotherham.

FT 2-1! Tragic for Shrewsbury. Must say that I'd tipped Rotherham to win the pay offs some time ago.

That illustrates how unfair the play off system is. There were three teams streets ahead of the rest all season and Shrews were one of them. They must, justifiably, be gutted.
Having said that have they any players worth poaching now?

Well that is a weaker team/club promoted so could make it easier for us depending on where the Venkies want us to be next season

Twice that Shrewsbury have been to Wembley in the last 3 months and gone home losers.
Have to feel sorry for their fans but perhaps not for that keeper...

Haven't seen him play but I've already suggested that we might take a look at their Captain Ogogo. Their record with him v their record when he's been injured (twice) is like chalk and cheese.

Apparently he and Karl have fallen out as Karl wanted to pay Belokon off when his claim was in it's infancy and a fraction of what the court ordered.
I don't honestly know what the Oyston family wealth extends to but I can't imagine that there'll be a great deal left after this.
