Also interesting to see in that article that the Championship clubs will get £4.3m this year but league one clubs just get £650k[/QUOTE]
So the 70 odd feeder league teams effectively get the cost of Paul Pogba between them.United under investigation by FIFA over Pogba. Not by their fellow FUP luvvies at UEFA of course.

btw....I said last summer that Pogba is the new Carlton Palmer (except he can't tackle as well as Carlton). I wonder how much Pogba's agent got and how much he then paid out to 'someones' bank account in some overseas tax haven.... err like Brunei for example?
Top marks to the Stanley chairman Andy Holt for speaking out about this . What was the Premier League's reaction ? Almost a threat to end the solidarity payments to Stanley because he dared to express an opinion. Yeah but Gibson (and others) saved them from bankruptcy and as he continued building up his own fortune he invested more. I don't regret what I said about the previous ownership in the slightest as pretty much the whole world knows. I did admit that new owners might not be a success but then hypocritically jumped the gun by declaring it "liberation day". I won't be doing that again right away even if the club is sold. People did the same with Kean and while you can't begrudge anyone happy to see him go nobody knew for sure if results would get any better. Indeed a lot felt then they needed to follow Kean immediately.
I didn't but there's not much option now.Don't worry gord wants them to stay
Perhaps that will be the undoing of them.Dyche was on Radio Lancashire today saying that Burnley are now safe and guaranteed at least £100,000,000 from the Premier League. He bragged that they were now better off financially than they had ever been and he could now spend with impunity instead of only being able to spend what he had to. It makes me puke that we could have been there had it not been for the Raos.
I did and was glad he went . If they had appointed a top name from those who wanted it we would have been ok ..as you recall I didn't trust the wankers in India from the off. It didn't matter because as Andy Cole alluded to k##n was the key to the corruption.I didn't but there's not much option now.
btw now I think back Abbey I seem to rem that you wanted Allardyce OUT more than anything else!
coco was Anderson's plant, both criminals in my book.I did and was glad he went . There wasn't a bigger name than that of Sam Allardyce on that list. If he'd applied he'd have been the stand out candidate.I did and was glad he went .
