Must say I haven't watched any so you may be right.
The last series was enough to make me grab for the remote to switch channels though. Seems I'm not the only one either ...... From the link "The Sun can reveal the current tenth series of Benidorm will be the last amid falling ratings."

They had the Shadow Minister for Education on the panel , yes the one that left school at 16 with no qualifications and can barely speak English . Every time she opened her big mouth ( not a pretty sight to hear or see) she was cheered and applauded from the rafters , whilst any centre or centre right opinion was heckled and booed .

I know the BBC has form on this, but last night's audience took the biscuit and appeared to be mainly made up of the East Anglian branch of Momentum with a smattering of snowflake University " students " chucked in for good measure

What exactly would qualify that Matt Forde to appear on the panel? If I want an unqualified opinion from some comedian on serious issues I can just go to virtually any pub in the land. Matt Forde was an absolute embarrassment last night. If he has any sense he won't watch it back , but if he does it'll make him cringe. Typical left wing comedian full of mock indignation . He called an electrician, who chose to do an apprenticeship instead of a degree in a useless subject , a snob, and got quite aggressive and insulting about it . Typical of the Labour left wing luvvies , blind to the views of the ordinary working man . He was well and truly put in his place by the audience members and the excellent Camilla Tominey , who also rattled David Dimbleby about the usual high number of Remoaners on the panel . It certainly got to him because he never shut up about it afterwards .

You doth protest too much Mr Dimbleby

Just as an extra, QT was hosted in St Albans and there was a long discussion about the inability of young people to buy a house in the 'over heated' South East given a. the average salary and b. the average cost of a house in that area. Much debate and hand wringing that the govt should build more affordable homes etc but with sweet FA in the way of a workable solution being put forward.

So ... my two pennerth....
1. Find and then bin off the estimated 1m of illegals who are living in this country. Set targets too! fact of the matter is that London is chock full of people living off the state whilst bonafide workers are forced to commute many miles.
2. Most obvious.... Bosses and business owners like to live near the Capital but that's cos they can afford it. It's their staff who struggle to survive. There is a simple and imo obvious solution. The UK is a small country so offer incentives in the form of personal taxation to individuals, corporation tax level etc to move businesses to cheaper areas in the North of the country. There is no earthly reason why many businesses cannot re-locate given transport links and internet links. Plus such a policy would kill two birds with one stone with regard to unemployment in certain areas of the country.

Good water saving practice given the current drought conditions. I'd imagine they'll only need a couple of gallons to fill that to overflowing.

I've read the Hodges trilogy, so didn't bother watching although it would have been interesting to see how true to the original story it was. Mr. Mercedes is definitely the best of the three.
