If you follow it, you’ll discover some interesting facts:

1. The UK murder statistics are significantly manipulated in comparison to the USA stats. It is not an apple to apple comparison; UK residents are not as safe as they think they are.

2. UK murder stats have been relatively flat, both pre and post gun control. The difference is the method of murder, which is kind of inane in my opinion. Dead is dead.

3. USA murder rates are largely a function of location and race. Big city residents and blacks are at much higher risk than suburban and rural whites, Asians and Hispanics. The prevalence of firearms is inverse to those stats.

But feel free to continue with the muddle headed thinking.

Steve, this would suggest that younger people are getting fed up of adult inaction.
I can't remember if it was in this article (can't be bothered to find it) but some kids are getting scared to go to school, a place they should feel safe.

Never been a chef Vinjay, the question still stands, what goes into their chocolate that requires a Halal certificate, how can something be naturally Halal when it is a human construct for the barbaric killing of animals ? as for taste, yes it does taste different, they changed the recipe. Re Tugay, yes he is Muslim but not a radical Islamist

This is just another facet of the continuing trend to 'normalise' the barbaric methods used in halal and kosher slaughter. Repeat things often enough and people will come to believe them as fact. Unfortunately it seems you are halfway there.

Now that rather gives lie to the common belief that East Africans are good runners doesn't it?

btw..... If there is an excusable side to that clip it's that it's one on one. I doubt there are many instances of that being the case should the roles be reversed.

It's fair enough Al. No board rules were broken were they? Take it or leave it would be my advice. I did find it all a little like one of those introductory confessions in some support group or other but if you didn't read it through then you can't really criticise imo.

Lot of blather but he did outline some valid points. One of which I've agreed with for many years. Children fighting in the junior playground is now deemed a much more serious offence these days with (and I might be wrong) reports being sent to the governors, the police and the social services. A stupid and short sighted policy imo as basic manners and social skills involving human interaction are best learned at an early age when individuals aren't physically strong enough to cause serious physical damage to others. Receiving such 'extra curricular' instruction can prove to be a pretty dangerous learning curve on a saturday night down town.

I'm no expert on the halal slaughter process though I acknowledge your point. Generally though the words "humane" and "slaughter" aren't a very good mix! I don't think the animals appreciate it nonstop!

While I don't endorse cruelty to animals the welfare of humans is higher on my list of priorities. I do tend to believe in "survival of the fittest" where animals are concerned hence no aversions to meat or pro vegetarian views. Well I am rather fussy but that's different lol.
